The Jesus Papyrus: an error

by Carsten Peter Thiede and Matthew D'Ancona, Weidenfeld and Nicholson, London, 1996

is a lovely book, but it has an error in the fourth page of photos. The photo of the papyrus should have looked something like this (compare the illustration in the book):

Matthew 26 verses 7-8 (above) and 10 (below) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .and verses 14-15

and Matthew 26 verses 22-23 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and verse 31 (above) and verse 32-33 (below)

In other words, one of the fragments was upside down when the photo was taken. Never mind! The book is a great read.
