I created this website at the beginning of the first Covid lockdown in the UK, believing that the pandemic might lead people to turn from the downhill path we have taken as a nation and look for God .
As the months and now years have passed, our attitude seems to be that the virus and its knock-on effects is just one of those things, something to be tamed and conquered by our cleverness, and lived with as best we can. Humanity can manage this: we don't need God to help us. Nor do we need to change our ways. It is simply a case with getting back to life as it was before, as quickly as possible.
Well, the Covid threat may have receded - numbers world-wide are beginning to fall I'm told - but so far the storm it unleashed is intensifying to my mind. Economics, politics, even war. I believe there is a holy God who loves us and wants to have our attention. I think we do well to use this setback and its aftermath to ponder on our life here, and see them as a reason to search for him.
I have tried to address questions you may have. The feedback contains over a hundred reflections, links to relevant websites etc. Please weigh and consider these matters carefully. Send in your own feedback. And may God bless you and yours.
